Mariah H. N. Hawkins is interested in making a bridge between Young Adult fiction and Adult Fiction where the characters are young but dealing with life problems that often take place after the young adult novels finish. She is currently working on a series in which the main character must navigate loyalty, marriage, and politics. She has been published in UVU’s Touchstones twice with her short story “Monday” taking third place in their fiction writing contest and is part of Wingless Dreamer's Anthology, "Unveil the Memories." She has a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing and is currently working on her Master's in the same subject at Weber State University.
