Morgan is an African American woman of Caribbean descent from Los Angeles, California. She grew up reading young adult fantasy but longed to cheer on a protagonist who looked like herself. Morgan holds a degree in screenwriting from the University of Southern California. She hopes her writing will one day inspire young women of all nationalities and backgrounds to use their powers to create positive change in the world.
