Philip Bray

I spent most of my working life in sales and marketing in the food industry.
I have also worked as a fundraising consultant and latterly in driver training.
This is my first completed novel and took ten years to write. There is a prequel (that requires a structural edit) and three chapters of a sequel.
The idea for the novel was born when I was studying the Magi and their impact on the nativity story. The Lost Gospel of Joseph intrigued me and a nagging question. Did Mary present a piece of the swaddling to the Magi and did it have supernatural healing powers? If so, what would someone do to find it?
I live in south Manchester with my wife in an empty nest that my three sons have fledged from. My three beautiful granddaughters have taken me hostage.
