PT Breitenstein was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. Along with her husband of 30 plus years they live on a small hobby farm there. Although not having children of their own they enjoy teaching and entertaining children of all ages about the joys of farm life.
PT has been a lifelong lover of animals and nature. And enjoyed writing in school and for her own enjoyment. Over the years watching the happenings in the flock PT has discovered that we, especially children, can learn a lot from these creatures. After an incident involving 2 chicks named Rhoda and Dottie the idea was “hatched” to turn their experiences into a children’s book series. PT has enjoyed putting voices to the farm animals and sharing the lessons learned by her little heroines.
