Like the protagonist of my debut novel, I’m a trial attorney and former CIA combat pilot. I’m also principal co-author of Defective Product: Evidence to Verdict, Juris Publishing/New York, and author of over 50 law-related magazine articles. Additionally, I’ve served as legal consultant to the Los Angeles Times, USA Today, and New York Times, and been interviewed on CNN, NBC Nightly News, and other televised programs. I’m also a member of the Mystery Writers of America, International Thriller Writers and the American Legion and teach legal courses at the University of Southern California.
I graduated from New York University and the School of Law at the College of William and Mary in Virginia and served ten years in the United States Air Force as an instructor, functional test and fighter pilot and as an aerospace engineer on the DOD/NASA Space Shuttle Program. My yet-to-be published manuscript, The Raven Society: Conspiracy Ignited, was recently selected as a Top-Five Thriller Finalist for the 2022 Maxy Awards and a Top-Ten Semi-Finalist for the Clive Cussler Adventure Writers Competition and received a Five-Star Review by Readers' Favorite Book Reviews. I'm writing in the thriller/action and adventure genres to take full advantage of my life experiences, passions and past readings.
