My name is Ryan Bold, I am an independent author and artist from Chicago. My background is actually in art, I hold an animation degree from DePaul University, but I've always been driven to write stories and I'm eager to get my stories and characters out to an audience. I want to build a community of readers, and if I can inspire any of those readers to create stories of their own, I will have accomplished my goal. My books are published under the pen-name LionBolt, I see it as a way to develop a unique brand and I'd like to think it sounds cool.
