Samantha Mattocks

I have loved writing for as long as I can remember. I am a voracious reader and I have to read every day. Life is better with books, and I firmly believe that they can unlock your own imagination and take your mind to places you have never dreamed possible.

In October 2024, I founded and own The Arabian Magazine, all about Arabian horses, which has seen me travel the world and inspire my debut novel, Sandstorm.

I have self-published a poetry collection, progress, and in October 2023, I published my debut children's book, Mister Mishkins' Apothecary. The same day, I won the Norwich Writers Circle Members' Shield for my entry into the Olga Sinclair Prize. Quite the day!

I was on MasterChef in 2019, and have written a cookbook for a US corporate client.

I am passionate about writing, cooking, and photography.
