Hi, I’m Jamie,
Usually, I am a gardener, but writing (especially screenwriting) has been a passion of mine for a while and now I believe it’s time to develop this passion further.
I write mainly social satire, but also a bit of political satire as well.
I take well-known tropes and archetypes that have been done countless times before, and add a satirical 21st Century twist to them.
My main aim with my writing is to entertain, to take the audience on a fun ride, whilst using social commentary and allusions to current affairs and issues impacting us today to hopefully add interest and depth to the story.
A sort of topical-escapism if that is possible.
