Summary

Sharon Barba is a writer and graduate historian from Perth, Western Australia. She has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Australia and a Graduate Diploma in Secretarial Studies from Edith Cowan University.

A dual Cecil & Owen Prize winner, Sharon is passionate about bringing history to life in thought-provoking and cinematic fiction with contemporary resonance. Sharon relishes the opportunity to write novels featuring complex characters on compelling journeys that showcase her storytelling and research skills. She continues to develop her craft by seeking out like-minded creatives in Australia and abroad.

A travel enthusiast, Sharon takes every opportunity to combine the research trips she takes with her husband with their mutual love of the Italian language and culture.
