Simon Bullock is a Netherlands-based writer who normally writes speculative fiction under the pen name Richard Randon and also co-writes with his partner, Jo-Anne van Gelder. His work ranges from psychological suspense to historical and speculative fiction, with a focus on character, atmosphere, and emotional truth. Eastbound, his first historical fiction novel, is based on the wartime experiences of his father-in-law, Noddy illustrator Pieter Wienk.
