As a hybrid author, Tobey Alexander writes across multiple genres. As an autistic adult (late diagnosis) it has always been his drive to showcase how a quirky and different perspective can be a gift. Realising his youngest son was also on the autism spectrum, Tobey decided it was time to lead from the front and set about committing fanciful adventures he had created to page and releasing them as books for the world to enjoy.
Writing by heart, Tobey delves into a variety of genres but has found increasing success in recent years with a series of books aimed at the family audience under the banner of "Timothy Scott." The story was born to provide all of his three children an escape when their mother and his wife was undergoing chemotherapy. At such a dark time he offered an escape in a fanciful idea of escaping to another world through a mirror, capturing his own children's imaginations he set about writing a trilogy of books with the intention of taking the world even further in years to come. Tobey writes across multiple genres and has had screenplay adaptations selected in a variety of film festivals and contests.
Tobey comes from a background of law and seeks to transition full-time to the creation of new, exciting and thrilling stories. As the projects have grown, Tobey has adapted a number of his works into screenplays resulting in a number of festival nominations and awards from a variety of film festivals around the world.
