Steve Blayney

My name is Steve Blayney, I am 56 years young and a fiancé (soon to be husband), a father and a grandfather, as well as an aircraft safety engineer. After leaving school at the tender age of 16, I joined the Royal Air Force and proudly served Queen and country for fifteen years. Upon leaving the RAF in 1996, I stayed in the aerospace industry and became an aircraft safety engineer, progressing through to perform both consultant and managerial roles in various companies before ending up in my current position down in the south west of England. I have always enjoyed creative writing and regularly create humorous poetry for family and workmates. My preferred genre for reading and writing novels is that of the crime and thriller variety, with a dash of dystopian fiction thrown in, for good measure.

Thank you, Samar - I'm really glad you like the pace in the opening chapter (I did work pretty hard at it).
