When I kiss your cheek at night

When I kiss your cheek at night;

I cover you with a pleasant light.

A light so bright it forms a shield;

A golden shield for you to wield.

When I hug you close at night;

A bubble forms just out of sight.

A bubble clear but strong;

Good protection all night long.

Then it's time I set you free;

To dreamland where you ought to be.

No nightmare scare can penetrate;

The bubble for you that I create.

On wild adventures you will go;

Scaling mountains high and low.

Flying dragons here and there;

Exploring worlds from the air.

And in this dream you will find;

Many creatures, different kinds.

Mermaids, ponies, polar bears;

Riding rainbows, climbing stairs.

At long last dawn will creak the day;

And in the dream you cannot stay.

Ride the Bubble to your bed;

And gently rest your weary head.

With happy thoughts, you'll open eyes;

And find me there, to your surprise.

Waiting with a kiss for you;

To seal the night with a hug or two.
