A really weird hook that's…
A really weird hook that's impossible to ignore.
Intriguing!
Intriguing. Some solid visuals. The eerie atmosphere comes across. The mystery definitely makes us want to know more.
Offbeat premise that captures our interest.
Not clear about how the tone will play out, but this piece builds a lot of intrigue effectively.
A strong opening
The premise hooks you in, an interesting concept; character voices feel a bit similar.
Absolute Hallways
An original and intriguing idea. Sophie feels like she might have more going on seeing as she just invites herself in and does not seem to have much of a connection with Bruce. It might be fun to feel like she is hiding something, rather than just a convenient neighbor. It definitely draws you in with his disappearance, the sticking video tapes, and the intrigue of the past instagram picture with Bruce, Fiona and their mother. It neatly sets up some questions to be answered in the film.
Stranger Things-esque with your own twist
Thought the visuals of the surroundings and other world were set up nicely. The brother-sister relationship tension and resolution hit at the right moments. I think Sophie is a good supporting character, however, I think she should be more significant to Bruce that tie her into the story. A reason why she's helping Fiona maybe (good or bad), however, I did like at the end where she encourages her to go on her own.
