I'm secondary school teacher from County Cork, Ireland with a degree in English and History and a masters in education. I've always had an avid interest in writing but have only began to look at my writing in a professional capacity over the past two years. After attending a number of creative writing classes, I started to put my work forward for competitions and publications and have since commenced work on my debut novel.

Eight different people from various walks of life have been left stranded at Dublin airport due to an approaching storm indefinitely delaying their flight to New York. Each one has a different reason for their trip and a different deadline waiting for them in New York.

Mmm... I like the sound of this story. There appears to be lots of options open as to where it can go. And of course that must be in an engaging, interesting way. Writing is quite well done and lays out the frustrations of each passenger. I am interested to read more.

Oh, I was so disappointed to reach the end of this! I really love stories with multiple threads, and this seems poised to become a lovely one. Well done! (Jelly Tots always calm me down, too. ;))

I feel cheated that I didn't get to meet the other 4 characters! Great opening. Lots of intrigue in each of the stories and great characterisation. Well done!
