Logline or Premise

A midlevel gangster from Manchester is sent to America to retrieve stolen goods, but upon arrival misfortune ensues. With the help of an underdog and a fierce young woman, he does his best to stay alive and get the job done.

Synopsis:

Morris’s criminal life in Manchester is comfortable and managable until he sleeps with the wrong woman. Redemtion requires him to travel to America to steal an already-stolen painting. Morris is out of his comfort zone in the US, and to make matters worse, a series of unfortunate events almost kills him. With the help of a good-natured local kid and a fierce young woman, Morris tries to finish the job so he can return home safely.
