This definitely has some prison break vibes with your own twist to it and the story is appealing, however, I wasn't hooked in from the beginning and there was a lot of lengthy dialogue, I definitely got lost away from the story at times. I would recommend trimming unless its a crucial speech. Show the reader in the meaning of the sentences instead of tell them. Overall, I think it is a good start.
