Richard Fellinger

I'm an author, former journalist, and writing fellow at Elizabethtown College. I'm the author of the novels Summer of '85 (TouchPoint Press, 2021) and Made To Break Your Heart (Open Books, 2017) and the story collection They Hover Over Us (Snake Nation Press, 2012). I've earned several awards for my fiction, including the Serena McDonald Kennedy Award and first prize in the Novel Excerpt Contest at Seven Hills Review. I live with my wife and son in Harrisburg, Pa.

The story of a single mom with a Pakistani son struggling to hold her life together while battling the book-banning bigots on her local school board. It's a timely story about a woman grappling with the true meaning of home, determined to make a difference in her little corner of the world.
