Katy Dore

Katy Dore is a screenwriter and director living on California’s Central Coast. Katy creates TV and film projects with relatable stories and social relevance. Her historic drama TV series about Mary Ellen Pleasant, is currently in pre-production with Quincy Jones Productions, Flavor Unit and Goldmann Pictures. Katy completed her undergraduate studies at Stanford University and her MFA at the Academy of Art in San Francisco. When Katy isn’t writing or directing, you can find her playing tennis, hiking or fly-fishing.
