Gabriel Norland

Gabriel was raised in rural Devon in the South West of England. He has been, or still is, in roughly chronological order, an art school graduate, band leader, festival organiser, teacher, backpacker, and surfer. For the last eight years, he has lived in the Southern Pacific region of Costa Rica, where the rainforest and mountains meet the ocean. During this time, between surfing, walking the dogs, and teaching in a small bilingual school, Gabriel began honing his story writing skills. He left the teaching profession after the pandemic to focus on writing, and he plans to finish his debut novel and find representation in 2023.
