Jennifer Herrington

Jennifer Herrington

Jennifer Herrington is a literary agent actively looking for writers to represent and is judging our Writing Award 2021 with the aim of finding a writer she can represent and help to get published.

Jennifer started her career on the editorial side of publishing with Kensington Books Publishing’s Lyrical Press imprint and an internship with Entangled Publishing.

She’s also worked as a freelance editor for independent authors. After an internship at a New York agency, she joined the Harvey Klinger Literary Agency in 2020.

Jennifer is currently building her own list and is interested in representing middle grade, YA, and adult fiction. She’s especially open to BIPOC and LGBTQ voices in the mentioned categories. Jennifer lives in Ontario, Canada, with her husband, three sons, and two dogs.

As a literary agent accepting submissions for fiction, Jennifer is actively seeking projects from writers of Commercial Fiction, Literary Fiction, Romance (all genres including SFF), Women's Fiction, Mystery, Suspense, Thrillers, Middle Grade, Young Adult and Graphic Novels.

I am looking for character and voice-driven books I connect with on an emotional level. I want a book that makes me laugh or cry and bonus points for both. I'm thrilled to take part in the Page Turner Awards, and I can't wait to read your entry.
