A story is more than a collection of sentences, but being intentional about each sentence is necessary for a story to hold together well. Think of each word as an ingredient in a recipe; you can’t skip a key spice or add a bunch of unnecessary ingredients and expect the meal to be tasty. Delight your readers with a well-constructed story.
