Mauro Piva

Mauro has been living and working for several years in Bucharest, Romania, where he holds the position of manager at the European headquarters of one of the world's leading providers of IT solutions.
Originally from northern Italy, he lived in Milan for fifteen years before emigrating, always working in the field of information technology and telecommunications.
A devourer of books from an early age, he collects seventeenth-century and rare volumes in his private library. He has a soft spot for ex-libris, parchment bindings, Elzevirian editions and prints by the unknown and somewhat mysterious printer Pierre Marteau.
His passion for reading has always been accompanied by a passion for writing,
where he takes refuge to escape from that world based on the cause-effect pair that leaves little room for flights of fancy.
