The Page Turner Awards have given me a clear and professional way to put my work forward for independent consideration. Reaching the finalist stage in the 2026 Fiction Book Award has made the experience a meaningful milestone in my writing journey.
I have also found the judges’ feedback very helpful. It was thoughtful, specific and at times challenging, which made it useful rather than simply reassuring. It gave me points for reflection, confirmed some of the choices I had made, and highlighted areas where I could continue developing my work.
The process has been both challenging and motivating. I have valued the structure of the awards, the quality of the feedback and the chance to see my work assessed on its own merits. I am pleased to have taken part.
