Ashray not-so-secretly took screenwriting and theater classes to earn an English Literature minor, while majoring in Biology at UC Berkeley. The writing bug bit him early and he collected stories during medical school only to have them spill out onto the page years later. He seeks to create engaging stories that touch on the South Asian experience, but reflect the human experience.
