Jennifer Collins began writing novels in 2020. A retired physical therapist and college professor, she became inspired to write after experiencing the loss of several loved ones. From her debut award-winning novel, Comfort in the Wings, arose two additional books to comprise the Love That Does Not Die Trilogy. These emotionally satisfying books tell the story of Larissa and her family as they navigate the joys and tragedies of life. Most recently, she co-authored a nonfiction collection of stories from everyday entrepreneurs, Unlikely to Unstoppable. Each of these books has been recognized with awards such as Wishing Shelf Book Awards, Eric Hoffman Award, and Goody Business Book Award. She is currently working on a novel of friendship and how it evolves over time.

A testimony to the poignant works she has created, Collins won the MartinArts Council 2023 Award in the Literary Arts.

Collins spends her time writing and running a family business alongside her eldest son. She does both from two residences - her long-time family home in upstate New York and Hutchinson Island in Florida.
