Kim Lindman joined Stonesong as an assistant in 2018, and now holds the positions of Associate Literary Agent and Social Media Coordinator. She is a highly collaborative agent who seeks to build a diverse list of clients. Originally from the West Coast, Kim studied English Literature with a subfocus in Journalism at Seattle Pacific University. After moving to the NYC area, she has worked at a distillery and as a researcher with the United Nations, among others.
In non-fiction, Kim is interested in culinary and cocktail books, investigative journalism, travel, social science, pop science (particularly with environmental motifs), and narrative non-fiction that makes niche subjects accessible and engaging for a general audience.
Kim is looking for literary or commercial novels for adults, with special interest in magical realism and light speculative elements. She also considers select short story collections. Above all, she is drawn to works that have either a strong atmosphere, a propulsive plot, or both.
