To me, the world only makes sense as a metaphor and I am grateful for every writer and book that helps my mind find peace.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Now years later, I am a mother of three children and one gigantic Rottweiler dog named Bruno, who is the main character in a series I am writing called, "The Naughty Rottie." However, as a sister to a special needs brother who passed away during my childhood, I also write many pieces about tragedy and mental health. The Seany Syndrome is the greatest culmination of my writing efforts for this topic. Somehow, Seany and I learned to write our story together even though we are seemingly far apart. I have also written a short story influenced by my experience with Sean, which won first place in the Bryan College Station Libraries' adult writing contest in 2023.
