Lucy is a writer, broadcaster and psychotherapist. She was announced (June 2021) as the runner up in the Jane Austen Literacy Foundation short story competition. She’s the author of 4 books, and is also the founder of The Kindness Club, with its award-winning Refuge for Books scheme, creating libraries in shelters run by the UK domestic violence charity Refuge.
Lucy hosts a weekly chat show #MindOverMatterMondays on Insta Live @thelucyberesford1, is a regular panellist on Jeremy Vine on 5, reviews the papers on BBC News Channel and her TEDx Talk has been viewed on You Tube over 2.4 million times.
