Pam C. Golden

Pam’s life has been as adventurous as a book; travelling around the world between working as a community artist in Salford, then teaching in Switzerland, London and the Calder Valley. Living amongst indigenous people from North and South America, she developed sympathy and understanding for their environmental wisdom. She returned home to train as a permaculture designer, continuing her desire to create a sustainable future for us all. For the last thirty years she has lived in West Yorkshire, where the beautiful landscape has proved an inspiration for her books. Using the knowledge she has gained in her travels and life, her writing has so far focused on a memoir: 'To Be Human is an Honour' and the first in a series of children's books about time travel to prehistoric Britain, called 'A Tree in Time'. An independent author, she has set up her own publishing company called Gentle Press Publications. At the moment the second book in the series is being prepared for publication.
