Pam’s life has been as adventurous as a book; travelling around the world between working as a community artist in Salford, then teaching in Switzerland, London and the Calder Valley. Living amongst indigenous people from North and South America, she developed sympathy and understanding for their environmental wisdom. She returned home to train as a permaculture designer, continuing her desire to create a sustainable future for us all. For the last thirty five years she has lived in West Yorkshire, where the beautiful landscape has proved an inspiration for her books. Using the knowledge she has gained in her travels and life, she wrote a memoir: 'To Be Human is an Honour,' followed by a series of children's historical fantasy books called 'Tree Spirits in Time'.
