Sheetal Ohri is a woman with a mission. She believes in using her experiences to make a difference. Shaken by the custodial troubles presented to her early on in life, she has made it her strength. She aspires to use her custodial battles, experiences, and her determination to guide non-immigrant parents on their rights for their children’s custody. She is committed to guiding parents who are victims of family law due to their immigration status and suffer through the complex US family law system. Her determination comes from her decade-long struggle to get her own son’s custody from the American Judicial system.

On March 8th 2023, Sheetal Ohri was felicitated with the Global Indians of the World Award 2023 at the House of Lords at the British Parliament and she was recognized as “WOMEN AROUND WORLD” - An initiative to commemorate the achievements of Women and to mark International Women’s Day at the Dorchester, London on March 7th, 2023.
Sheetal Ohri is an award winning Entrepreneur and a published Book Author. Sheetal’s journey has been in various fields and workings. She started her career in the hospitality and travel industry in India and moved on to managing restaurants and hotels in London.
In the last 15 years, Sheetal has branded her own name as the CEO and founder of Sheetal Ohri Inc in San Francisco California. She and her Company has won many California State Legislative, California Senate awards for her work. She has worked with various companies and individuals from USA and India doing Media, branding, PR, consultancy work. Sheetal has had her own weekly radio talk show “Making a Difference with Sheetal Ohri” for the last 10 years. The radio talk show airs on San Francisco’s largest South Asian FM radio station Bolly923Fm. Sheetal is a Licensed California Real Estate Agent. She launched Silicon Valley Awards-SVA “Making a Difference” in 2012. These awards were the first of its kind Red carpet glamorous affair awards in San Francisco. Sheetal launched, directed and produced the first Bollywood broadway show “Bollywood Dreamz- Journey of a Star” in 2013, using local talent. She recently authored a book in 2021 “Custodial Battle” which has been a reflection of issues and challenges she faced while going through her own son's custody situations due to Immigration status. She decided to write situations to help and provide resources to other immigrant parents in need of understanding the US family courts.
Her second book is under writing and will be published early 2024.
Sheetal Ohri is a US citizen, an author, a California Realtor, an Entrepreneur, Director of Facilities, remodel and development for America's largest Restaurant Franchisee chain, managing the California portfolio. Sheetal has her philanthropic side and volunteers her time with many local San Francisco Non profits devoting time for causes and encouraging Indian culture to mainstream America, children education and other local causes to bring a difference.
Sheetal Ohri believes that “We all make a difference,” and can bring positivity out in all situations.
