Ayesha Farhat

Ayesha lives in Norway with her husband and two daughters. Originally from Pakistan, she spent several years working in Islamabad as a young mother before relocating to Norway. By day, Ayesha works as a Product Lead, translating between cryptic tech jargon and the ever-evolving needs of business. While her job doesn’t involve much writing—unless epic emails count as creative prose—it constantly feeds her with insights into human behavior and relationships, which sneak their way into her fiction.

Her writing has been longlisted for the Bath Novel Award and shortlisted for the Page Turner Writing Mentorship Award. Her short stories have appeared in the Leicester Writes Short Story Prize Anthology, the Oslo Writers League Anthology, and The Aleph Review.

Ayesha is also an alumna of the Jericho Writers’ Self-Edit Your Novel course and the Curtis Brown Creative Writing Your Novel: Three Months course.
