I was born and raised in Spain and moved to live in the UK when I was 25. Learning a new language wasn’t easy for me; so, I challenged myself to write in English as a way to improve the language.
Characters and their stories have crowded my head from a young age, wanting to be told; one day I gave in and started to tell them. When I was in high school, back in Spain, I wrote a few poems for the school magazine and, at the age of 16, spent many hours writing a space series. I love fantasy and mystery, which is reflected in my stories as they’re usually fantasy, mysteries or—most frequently—a mix of both.
I have a BA degree from the University of Westminster, have done some voluntary work and currency work as a PA in London. I have also attended a summer writing course at Keele University and a few conferences for writers. I had a short story shortlisted in the Writers Magazine, and my YA novel, A Dose of Murder, was longlisted in The Times/Chicken House Competition in 2022.
