Keith Garton is a publisher of children's books who is continually looking for writers of great children's fiction, and he is judging the 2021 Young Writer Award.
Keith founded Red Chair Press with a design partner in 2009. He currently serves as its President and Publisher. Red Chair Press and its One Elm Books imprint have over 320 titles in release in print and e-book editions with 40 available in audiobook edition.
The company has had success in foreign rights with titles sold to Korea, China, Vietnam, Mexico, and Sweden. The company started by publishing primary-level fiction and expanded to non-fiction series for ages 6 to 12; eventually starting One Elm to publish single-title middle-grade fiction with both award-winning and debut authors.
