Lisa Baker

Lisa Baker has been teaching music and theater for 15 years. She has always enjoyed writing, starting with her high school creative writing class, which mostly has been a pastime until recently. She graduated from Grand Canyon University, summa cum laude, with her B.S. in Elementary Education with an Emphasis in English while working and helping raise kids. She lived in Southern California with her husband of 28 years, where they just retired from. They have two adult children who have enjoyed the family's annual Christmas letter in the form of a poem that Lisa always writes. Lisa has enjoyed performing at the local community theaters in her area. She also worked for a children's theater company where directed, music directed, and was set designer. Most recently, Lisa and her husband traveled full time to over 14 countries over 8 months.
