Ahh, there it is. I'm glad…
Ahh, there it is. I'm glad it finally got updated. Cute story with adorable illustrations. I think young readers will really enjoy this!
I'm not quite sure why but I…
I'm not quite sure why but I found the second 'phase' of the story more satisfying than the set-up, which I felt was a bombardment of noodle-speke that really prevented the basic storyline from developing. The illustrations are at this stage the best bit by far. Dial back a bit on the constant wordplay around noodles and focus on developing the characters and the plot points so we can feel more engaged with the content. An observation worth noting: the candy factory is just too close to Dahl's Charlie for comfort!
