She has been married for over 25 years and has a 24-year-old son. She and her family live in the Kansas City area on the Kansas side, and they're actually in the process of buying their first home.
She is a huge reader of mysteries and romance (mainly paranormal, romantic suspense, and contemporary romance).
She's been a freelance fiction book editor for 10 years, and she's been writing, reading, and editing fan fiction since 2008. In the fan fiction community, she's been involved with nearly a dozen contests, both as a writer and a judge.
