A good western is always…
A good western is always great entertainment, especially when it doesn't merge into fantasy or zombie horror. It doesn't need to if it's plausible and sticks to the principles that the original west and its diverse assortment of humanity lived by. This excerpt has that feel to it as long as it doesn't digress later on. The setting, the characters and the voices have a ring of authenticity to them that connects to gritty westerns of the past. Perhaps a bit more descriptive detail could be added just to flesh it out a bit more.

Greetings, Thank you for taking to time to comment on my screenplay E-Towne. This being a true events story I tried to keep it as period authentic and as historically accurate as possible. It has been revised since my submission to this contest and I think you will be pleased with the consistency of the authenticity.

It's been a while since I've read a good western. It's always a pleasure. An excellent time-travel machine, well-oiled and ready to ship. I'd love to see this film.
Thank you
