Ana Mª López Jimeno, born in Puerto Rico, lives in Toledo (Spain) and has a BA in Arabic & Islam and a Certificate of English by the Language Department, both by the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Owner of a private language academy for 40 years, she teaches Spanish, English and Arabic. She has designed the Language Learning System Lexiway® and the Graphic Grammar, and is the creator and founder of Lexiway Online, a platform for teaching languages (Spanish and Catalan available right now; other languages to come). It has been used as an Express Emergency Course for teaching Spanish to immigrants and refugees hosted by Red Cross and other NGO. Author of the award-winning book Vademecum of English. A Complete Reference Guide for Teachers and Learners, she is currently preparing her Doctorate thesis in Language Didactics in the Education Faculty at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
