BanksandBetzold

Although Caleb Banks was diagnosed with special needs, at a young age, his mother, Amy recognized in him a wonderful imagination, a love of history and historic artifacts, a passion for books and reading, and an enthusiastic faith in Jesus Christ. She also recognized his ability to create stories based on all of these experiences. As he grew, his imaginative stories matured into great adventures. In 2023, when he was twenty-three years old, Amy began to actually tame those wild stories into a series of books for Christians that replay the message of Christ’s love through the holidays of the year. As a team, Caleb (the storyteller) and Amy (the writer), they make a single author and collaborated to bring The Gypsy King to life.
Caleb lives in Carmel, Indiana. He travels all over the state of Indiana learning about the history of its oldest cities and their people. He has a special interest in slavery, the civil war, fur trapping, and immigrant and native cultures. Caleb spends hours researching for the books and enjoys telling people the facts that transcend the stories. He visits his father and step-mom often and likes to spend time going out to dinner with good friends and family.
Amy E. Martin-Betzold also lives in Carmel, Indiana, with her husband Jim and has a love of reading, oil painting, cooking, and gardening, her children and grandchildren, and of course writing. She has three adult children and a yellow lab.
