Brent Bambic

As an auteur filmmaker with his critically acclaimed, award-winning films successfully in distribution, Brent launched his career with original screenplays that circulated throughout top production companies and studios. During that time he sold two scripts, an adaptation of "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" and the drama "The Zephyr Trophy".

Additionally, he produced and directed the genre short film “The Evil Ones” that he also wrote. He later gained production development experience through positions at Ridley Scott’s Scott-Free and at TriCoast Studios.

Wanting to make his dreams a reality, Brent not only wrote, but also produced and directed his first feature entitled “Runaways”, a drama about runaway teens struggling to stay off the streets of Los Angeles. Shot documentary style, the indie film was produced through his own Stronghold Productions. After having its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, “Runaways” became a surprise arthouse hit, screening at numerous film festivals to positive reviews and also in limited theatrical release.

Brent’s second feature, a romantic drama entitled “Exploring Love”, also had its world premiere at a Cannes Film Festival and then took off on the festival circuit, where it won Best Drama Feature and was nominated for Outstanding Cast Performance by the AOF International Film Festival, and garnering Brent a nomination for Best Producer by the Queens International Film Festival. Shortly thereafter, the acclaimed film secured worldwide distribution, which included a theatrical premiere in South Florida at Flagship Cinemas.

Brent's latest film is an action/crime drama titled “Sanctioned to Die", which had its world premiere in Cannes and ran the festival circuit, winning Best Martial Arts Feature and Best Martial Arts Film. The film scored a distribution deal with Universal through Panorama Entertainment.

Brent is developing a few projects for production, including “Keep it Reel”, a character-driven drama, currently preparing for pre-production.
