Ilana Santizo grew up in Florida, but now resides in Northern California with her boyfriend and two cats, Tangerine and Foggy, who supervise her writing by sprawling beside her while she works. When Ilana isn't typing until her hands ache, she's failing in the kitchen, hiking new trails, reading, or working as a nanny for a family she loves. She graduated cum laude with a degree in political science and hopes to pursue a master's in creative writing. UNDER PERFECT SKIES is her debut, and she's currently querying literary agents, as well as drafting her next project.
