I grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, graduating from the University of New Mexico with a degree in marketing and married my husband, Louie. After a few years in the business world, I became a stay-at-home mom, raising my two sons, Tyler and Chase.
As an avid learner and aspiring author, I studied the craft of writing by attending classes in person and online, joining Jerry Jenkins Writers Guild, and reading many books on the trade. I’m a member of SouthWest Writers and attended their writer’s conference, and also SFF Chronicles.
My passions in life are my faith and family. And now, writing—creating worlds where magic awaits. My first love of all that’s magical is Harry Potter, however, I’m still surprised the Sorting Hat put me in Slytherin. My family is not. I enjoy golfing, coffee, and yearly trips to Disneyland. I currently work out of my home with my trusty lab, Gunner, warming my feet.
