As an avid reader I've always been fascinated by fiction and its ability to inspire the audience to question and reflect on aspects of real life. Like many people, this has made me want to write my own novels and finally, in my late 50s, I had the chance to study for a creative writing degree at De Montfort university.

I graduated with a First in 2020 and have spent time since finding my style and voice. I'm experimenting with contemporary romance and relationship interactions and hope to become the best writer I can be.

I live in a small village in Lincolnshire with my husband of 33 years and much of my inspiration is drawn from real life. This narrative is based on an actual event in the 1980s where a vicar in Devon was exposed as a conman and focuses on the perpetration of the fraud involved and its wider impact. It's set in the fictional village of Little Bloxley, which is not unlike my own and I anticipate future work following the lives of other characters introduced in this novel.
