Celeste Lovick is a Canadian author and singer-songwriter residing in Norfolk, England with her husband and son. Her first novel, 'Medicine Song', was self-published in 2017 and was inspired by her experiences performing at greenfield festivals over the years. She has released four solo albums of original songs. Most recently she is passionate about promoting the new fiction genre of 'Thrutopia', which fills the gap between utopian and dystopian writing, by telling an interesting story that also shows a realistic, yet hopeful way into the future; charting a practical way to a sustainable, healthy planet. Celeste's current novel, 'The Bee Whisperer' (previously titled 'The Norfolk Re-Creation Hub') won joint second place in the 2023 Green Stories Novel Prize. When Celeste is not busy writing Thrutopian fiction, she can sometimes be found with a guitar in the green fields of an English festival.
