After a long career at the top of private equity and corporate firms, over the last four years I have pursued writing with significant guidance and editing from established authors and publishing professionals in the UK. Reading great fiction has always been a respite for me, taking me to places and putting me in situations that my life has not offered. I wanted to lose myself in writing, and I find it one of the most gratifying things I have ever done.

After three years of writing, reading, receiving more mentoring and edits, and writing again, I was shortlisted for the First Novel Prize in the UK one year ago. Nevertheless, I felt that I could do much better with writing style. Since then, I have done nothing but that, plus receiving edits from another established author. I believe the novel is now ready for submission.

The Wake of Ghosts blends experiences I have had in business settings, where imperial CEO's get away with almost anything short of murder, raising a troubled child, divorce, and the challenges diverse women, many of whom I am proud to mentor, face in business.

My apologies for the less-than-stellar user name. I cannot see a way to edit it.
