When not writing, Clara works as a dermatologist and lives with her husband and three children amongst the beautiful mountains and lakes of North Idaho. She volunteers in her community with disabled children, a cause near to her heart as her daughter is severely cognitively and physically disabled. Clara is endlessly drawn to stories that remind us of the enduring power of love and resilience. In the spare moments between, she finds stories to tell featuring fiercely unapologetic women and drinks far too much coffee.
