Mozy Aless is a naturalised Canadian fiction author. As a child, she invented short stories, wrote poems and essays, and was an avid reader of all genres. Those experiences sparked a lifetime love of literature and writing, which eventually developed into a full-time career.
Curious by nature, she follows new scientific discoveries with keen interest, especially in physics, psychology, and history. Science consistently ignites renewed awe and inspiration; therefore, unsurprisingly, her favourite genres are science fiction, psychological thrillers and poetry.
Fascinated with oral storytelling and world mythologies, she frequently incorporates them into her work. To honor her ancestral roots, her latest series, The House of Danu, draws inspiration from Slavic and Celtic traditions.
When she is not writing, Mozy enjoys gardening or taking long walks in nature. A strong advocate for environmental protection, she also preserves several acres of forest in its natural state, raising awareness of the importance of native pollinators and nature conservation.
