Danielle lives in North London with her husband, two young daughters, and two cats. She studied English at the University of Cambridge. After spending several years working as a bookseller, she is now a writer, poet, mother, and witch.
Danielle is a graduate of the Curtis Brown Creative novel-writing courses and mentorship programme, in 2024 she won the Caledonia Novel Award, her words have appeared in many literary magazines, such as Micromance and The Quarterly, she was a contributor to The Little Book of Positive Birth Stories (Virago Press 2025), and her debut poetry chapbook - Burnt Offerings - will be published in September 2025 (Alien Buddha Press). She is drawn to write stories about women struggling to find their place in the world, and tales with a dash of magic.
