Etan Tal

My academic journey includes preclinical medical studies, an MSc. in pharmacology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and Film & TV studies at the University of Tel-Aviv. I made several documentaries as a screenwriter and director, including LEAH (awarded the "Best Documentary Film" prize at the Short Film Contest in Israel, 1982) and BABEL IN BERLIN (produced for SFB in 1987). I participated in Mark Travis's workshops.

I am an avid gardener, a Wikipedia editor, and I hold a private pilot's license. I built and maintain the https://joseftal.org/ website, dedicated to my father.

I relocated from Israel to Greece in 2022 for political reasons. I continue to write for film, striving to realize a feature-length drama.
